About Me

Hey - i am 26 years old and i live in the Uk. I discovered Konad around October 2010 , and my bank balance has yet to recover. i have since collected a very large collection of fauxnads and Konads. the goal for this blog is simple - (1) Further explore the world of nail art stamping. (2) To keep a record of all my experiments with stamping. (3) To show you the potential each stamp has. (4) To show you that you don't have to be a 'Konading' expert to have fun! =)

Big SdP N + A bit of a Fail '

Hey Guys

Thank god its Friday!!! =D.

Unfortunately, this is not one of my best manicures - However you're never learn if
you don't make mistakes and learn from them!

Anyway onto the manicure:

For this Manicure I used:

- Ciate - My Fair Lady.
- Fab Ur Nails Stamping Polish - Pink , Yellow , Avocado Green ,
 Bubble Blue & Lavender.
- Big SdP N.

What I hate about this manicure:

- I cannot fault the Image plate and stamping polishes that I used to create
this manicure with - However, I just feel that this manicure 'looks' washed out.
- I HATE how streaky the base colour looks -  I didn't have a problem when I
used it for this manicure - This will teach me NOT to
paint my nails with bad lighting.

Anyway runs away from my negative comments....
Here's a close up of the gorgeous pattern =D .

Big SdP N Can be purchased from here.

Thanks fir stopping by!

  1. I love the pattern and the multi-coloured stamping. I still can't get the hang of it yet ... one day. :)

  3. We are always our own worst critics! The multi colored stamping is great, I'm not a huge fan of the avocado green with this mani maybe on a different base I'd think differently. I'm posting all my fails on my blog so I'm glad you posted this. You always do a fantastic job so it is nice to know you're human lol!

    1. Lol thank you =) Yup we are all human..I know some bloggers wouldn't dare to post fail manicures..but at the end of the day..I agree, it shows we are all human, hopefully this will help someone avoid doing the same mistake!

Plus the blog as created with the intention to:
      (2) To keep a record of all my experiments with stamping

I think ill recreate this on a darker base one day =D

  4. Sheer nude nail polishes can be tricky to apply but besides that, your manicure is not a fail! I first thought it was a gradation mani and it looks pretty :)

    1. Thank you sweetie =) - I agree they are tricky indeed- i usually do 3 coats for these type of polishes..I blame the bad lighting for tricking me lol

  5. That is a really pretty look, the only thing I would personally change is the base. I think it would really pop on a dark blue or black base.

  8. I like everything about it! but I know how you feel, we have expectations on how it will come out but then looks different. Anyway, it looks very cute, reminds me of eastern eggs because of the pastel shades :D
