Hey - i am 26 years old and i live in the Uk. I discovered Konad around October 2010 , and my bank balance has yet to recover. i have since collected a very large collection of fauxnads and Konads. the goal for this blog is simple - (1) Further explore the world of nail art stamping. (2) To keep a record of all my experiments with stamping. (3) To show you the potential each stamp has. (4) To show you that you don't have to be a 'Konading' expert to have fun! =)

C02 + ' Wellies on a wet Day! '

Hey Guys

Its been raining since 2012 started - which has put me in such a happy mood!

So i thought I'd delicate my manicure to the first raindrops of
 2012 ( I swear i haven't gone crazy - nor am i drunk whilst writing this - I
just simply love it when it rains <3 ).

(Picture with Flash).

For this manicure I used :

- Barry M - Black and Cyan Blue.
- Nail Pop - Pearl Effect.
- Rimmel London -Matte Finish.
- Fab Ur Nails Stamping Polish - Yellow.
- Dotting Tools.
- Konad CO2.

(Picture with Flash).

To create the base ( See Below) of my manicure i used:

- Two Coats of Barry M's Black.
- One Coat of Nail Pop's Pearl Effect.
- One Coat of Rimmel London -Matte Finish.

(Picture with Flash).

These wellies are so super cute! I love that these plates are soo super cute.

I really hope Konad start making more adventurous designs this year... I'm so bored of flowers and butterflies from them =-/.

Here is the C06 plate that i used to create this manicure =).

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. You must be the only person out there who gets in a happy mood with rain!
The matte finish really helps achieve the rubbery feeling of wellies.

  6. What a great way to use that plate...and that Fab Ur Nails yellow stamps excellent over dark colours...one of my pet peeves is colours that don't show up well over dark bases.
