About Me

My Photo
Birmingham, United Kingdom
Hey - i am 26 years old and i live in the Uk. I discovered Konad around October 2010 , and my bank balance has yet to recover. i have since collected a very large collection of fauxnads and Konads. the goal for this blog is simple - (1) Further explore the world of nail art stamping. (2) To keep a record of all my experiments with stamping. (3) To show you the potential each stamp has. (4) To show you that you don't have to be a 'Konading' expert to have fun! =)

LOSTathon Daily Challenge + Season 2

Hey Guys

Here is my second instalment to the
LOSTathon Daily Challenge! -  that me and  :

Kirsten @ Geeky Owl
Emma @ Manicurity
Bee @ Bee Polished
Debbie @ The Crumpet

...Are currently doing =D.

My Season One Manicure Can be found Here.

Here Is my interpretation for Season 2.
Season 2 for me was all about the survivors adapting to the Island.
Season 1 ends with the opening of the Hatch.  The hatch has running water, electricity and is stocked with food ( A total haven to our Losties).
It also has a 1970s era computer, which, according to its previous occupant, Desmond,
must have the Numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and 42 typed into it every 108 minutes, or "the world will end.

For this Manicure I used :

- Barry M - White Matte.
- La Femme Beauty - Grey Cream.
- Rimmel London - 5 in 1 Nail Care.
- W7 - Black Polish.
- Rio Professional Nail Art Kit - Green Pen.

The numbers  (Above) reoccur frequently in lost.
This is one of the main reasons I loved Lost...It drove me crazy ...I was constantly thinking..
but...but.....what does it all mean !

To create the base ( See Below) of my manicure i used:

- Two coats of Barry M's White Matte.
- I then Slight Sponged La Femme Beauty's Grey Cream over my nails.
- I then Slight in select areas sponged W7s Black onto my nails.
- I then applied a top coat of Rimmel London - 5 in 1 Nail Care.

Here's a teaser to teach you more about the Hatch.

Thanks for stopping by!

I hope you enjoyed my Season 2 nails

  3. This one looks great too! You did a great job with the numbers. I'm always impressed with any free-hand nail art, since I can't do it at all.
