Hey - i am 26 years old and i live in the Uk. I discovered Konad around October 2010 , and my bank balance has yet to recover. i have since collected a very large collection of fauxnads and Konads. the goal for this blog is simple - (1) Further explore the world of nail art stamping. (2) To keep a record of all my experiments with stamping. (3) To show you the potential each stamp has. (4) To show you that you don't have to be a 'Konading' expert to have fun! =)

The Halloween Challenge + ' Blood/ Gore / Splatter! '

Hey Guys!

Here is my eighth manicure for the Halloween 2012 Nail Challenge.
The challenge was created by Crumpets Nail Tarts
Today's theme is  - Blood/ Gore / Splatter!

For my manicure I used :

- Barry M Nail Paint - White Matt & Lemon Ice Cream.
- Nails Inc polish - Jermyn street
- Bettina - Magnolia
- Kleancolor - Fashionista
- Konad Special Red Polish.
- W7 - Black.
- seche vite.
- Sponge
- BM -311

I looooooooooove how this turned out - I was going to do a murder
mystery manicure...But loved this idea WAY more!

Here is a close up of my thumb.

To create the base ( See Below) of my manicure I used:

-  I applied a base coat (essential!)
- I then applied two coats of Barry M's White Matt to my nails.
- I then started by sponging Barry M's Lemon Ice Cream all over my nails.
- I then sponged Bettina's Magnolia in random areas on my nails,
followed by Sweet Color's #022, then  Kleancolor's Fashionista.
- I then sponged Nails Inc's Jermyn street over Kleancolor's
 Fashionista.
- I then selected random areas a sponged Barry M's White Matt
over my nails.
- I finished by applying a coat of seche vite.

Here is My Hot Topic Image Plate that I used for my Splatter Image.
This plate was discontinued in 2009.

Here is a picture of the BM-311 Image plate that I used to
create my manicure.

  5. Good looking. I thought of the Sally Hanson LOVE script nail apps - they remind me of this one stamp a lot - I need to get that wheel. This is a good take on a blood spatter over the 'text.'
