These plates do have a blue protected film on them.and they

 also have backings.

The set does not come in a fancy storage box - But instead come

 individually wrapped - which is handy if you decide to swap a Plate =D

I love the quality of these images plates I have a manicure Incoming

 in my next post which demonstrates that these plates are worth
